Just when it seems our obsession with gin is beginning to abate, along comes another gin-related story.
And our sincerest apologies, but this one is Christmas specific.
So London-based distiller Sipsmith Gin has come up with an interesting way to decorate your tree this year – gin baubles.
The baubles are actually miniature bottles of gin, so they’re fragile and best kept out of the reach of tiny hands or paws.
Sipsmith’s Master Distiller Jared Brown told Good HouseKeeping that: ‘As our London Dry Gin was inspired by the beautiful aromas of a pine tree, we thought all Christmas Trees needed to be decorated in gin this year.’
The gin baubles cost £25 for a box of six and will be available from Sipsmith’s website on November 1st.
Meanwhile, not to be outdone, Edinburgh distiller Pickering’s Gin has also brought out a colourful collection of gin-filled baubles.
The baubles are sold in a pack of six and use nine botanicals, including lemon, juniper, and anise.
