When it comes to choosing presents everyone knows that grandmas always choose the best ones.
And you can’t go wrong with a picture book about animals for a six-year-old?
At least that’s what one grandma thought when she bought If Animals Could Talk, by Carla Butwin and Josh Cassidy.
The picture book looks innocent enough, until you open it up.
Inside are drawings of animals with hilarious captions – all of which are definitely strictly for adults.
One drawing of a kangaroo searching in its pouch reads: ‘Where the f*** are my keys?’
Another reads: ‘Rise and shine assholes’ with a picture of a bird sitting on a branch.

Twitter user @Tiffany1985B wrote that her mother didn’t even know that the content was r-rated.
That was until her daughter sat down with her dad for a story.
The shocked dad thought his wife was playing a joke on him.
Tiffany wrote: ‘He goes “did your mom get this as a joke? Is this a serious book?”‘
I’m dying. My mom bought this book for my 6 year old and I just called to ask if she had actually opened the book. She hadn’t. 😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/inYCEaZKpV
